Minami Itsuki never thought about seriously riding Air Treck motorized roller blades, until he got his butt handed to him by a street gang of Storm Riders. That day, he discovered in a locked up room, a pair of AT's and a box of stickers belonging to the Sleeping Forest street gang. One thing leads to another, and Ikki dons the wheels and begins to ride. As his reputation builds in the AT street fighting/racing world, he begins to develop his own gang and participate in more fights, gaining more and more territory.

Where it came from
Air Gear was produced by Toei Animation and aired in 2006, based on the manga series by Oh! Great. The story follows Itsuki Minami and his friends as they navigate the underground world of Air Trecks, high-tech motorized inline skates that allow users to perform gravity-defying maneuvers and engage in competitive 'Parts War' battles.
The anime adaptation is known for its energetic visual style and a distinct soundtrack that mirrors the high-octane atmosphere of the source material. While the series captures the kinetic energy and detailed mechanical designs of the original manga, it became a notable entry in the mid-2000s sports-action genre, often remembered for its fusion of urban subculture aesthetics and supernatural battle tropes.
