BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!!: Haru no Hidamari, Mayoi Neko serves as the cinematic continuation of the 2023 anime series, produced by SANZIGEN. The project emerged from the broader BanG Dream! multimedia franchise, specifically focusing on the internal dynamics and emotional trajectory of the band MyGO!!!!!. The narrative builds upon the series' established exploration of interpersonal conflict and musical growth, utilizing the studio's signature 3D CG animation style to maintain visual consistency with its television predecessor.

Directed by Koudai Kakimoto, the film was conceived as a synthesis of the band's journey, designed to provide a cohesive theatrical experience for established fans. It was met with positive reception from the franchise's core audience, who praised its ability to distill the series' character-driven tension into a feature-length format.
