The CLAMP school, with its integrated curriculum from kindergarten to post-graduate studies, was founded by the largest of Japanese business empires, the House of Imonoyama. Funded entirely out of its own deep pockets, it was hoped that the school would be a haven for young men and women on whose shoulders our future would rest.
The School is open to any talented individual, irrespective of his or her lineage or financial standing and is known to count scores of singularly talented pupils. It is furthermore also famous for its harboring of a remarkable percentage of party animals. Not even the bright and talented minds of CLAMP School can keep the campus free of crimes and mysteries. Or can they? Join Nokoru, Suoh and Akira, our case-cracking kid detectives, as they save the day and even the odd damsel in distress!

Where it came from
CLAMP School Detectives was produced by Studio Pierrot and aired in 1997, serving as an adaptation of the manga series created by the artist collective CLAMP. The narrative originated from the writers' desire to expand their shared universe, known as the CLAMP multiverse, focusing on the whimsical and affluent lives of students at the exclusive CLAMP Campus. The series was designed to capture the blend of mystery, lighthearted comedy, and high-fashion aesthetics that characterized the group's work during the mid-1990s.
The character designs were directly derived from the intricate, slender, and stylish illustrations CLAMP is renowned for. By translating these aesthetic sensibilities into animation, the series aimed to maintain the sharp, elegant visual appeal of the source material. While it functioned as a standalone procedural for a younger audience, it was well-received by fans of the collective's broader catalog for its integration of recurring characters and its signature polished, romanticized artistic style.
