Classroom of the Elite 4th Season: Second Year, First Semester

Classroom of the Elite: Second Year, First Semester serves as the fourth television season in the anime adaptation of Shogo Kinugasa’s light novel series. Produced by the studio Lerche, the series continues the high-stakes psychological drama set at the Advanced Nurturing High School, where students compete in a meritocratic system that mirrors complex societal power structures. The decision to label this arc as the first semester of the second year reflects the transition from the foundational character dynamics established in the initial three seasons into a more expansive cast of characters introduced in the literary source material.

The production team at Lerche aimed to balance the dense internal monologues characteristic of the novels with the fast-paced, strategic confrontations favored by the show's audience. Building upon the visual identity established in previous seasons, the directors focused on sharp character designs and atmospheric lighting to underscore the series' themes of manipulation and social hierarchy. Upon its 2026 release, the season was positioned to satisfy the significant global following that the franchise had cultivated throughout its multi-year run on various international streaming platforms.
