Crayon Shin-chan: Ora-tachi no Kyouryuu Nikki

Crayon Shin-chan: Ora-tachi no Kyouryuu Nikki, also known as Our Dinosaur Diary, was released in 2024 as the 31st feature film in the long-running franchise. The production was spearheaded by ADK Emotions, continuing the series' tradition of blending domestic family comedy with fantastical high-stakes adventures. The film focuses on the Nohara family's encounter with a dinosaur in modern-day Kasukabe, leveraging the series' signature irreverent humor while expanding its visual scale through animation techniques developed for the theatrical format.

The film's visual design adheres to the established aesthetic of the television series while incorporating dynamic sequences designed for the big screen. The production reflects the ongoing evolution of the Shin-chan brand, which has successfully transitioned from Yoshito Usui's original 1990s manga into a multi-generational cinematic staple. Like its predecessors, the project was designed to appeal to both long-time adult fans and younger viewers, maintaining the franchise's balance of slapstick, sentimentality, and mild social satire.
