Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood: 4-Koma Theater

The Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood: 4-Koma Theater is a collection of short, comedic animated segments originally included as special features on the North American DVD and Blu-ray releases of the 2009 anime series. Produced by Funimation, these shorts were designed to provide a lighthearted counterpoint to the dramatic, often somber tone of the main narrative, adapting the four-panel gag manga style popularized by the original series creator, Hiromu Arakawa.

The animation features a simplified, chibi-inspired aesthetic intended to showcase the cast in self-aware, humorous scenarios that break the fourth wall. These shorts were received warmly by the fanbase, as they allowed viewers to see the characters in relaxed, comedic situations that would otherwise be incongruous with the series' high-stakes plot. They remain a distinct curiosity for collectors, reflecting the industry trend of the late 2000s to bundle supplementary, tone-shifting content with premium home media releases.
