The "first" season of Zhu Zhu Xia, its release format set the pattern and story style for later seasons.
GG Bond was a martial artist pig in a prehistoric world where resources are strained by overpopulation. At the cost of his own life, he entrusted a powerful "Magic Wisdom Ball" to Wang Xiaoer that could be used to save the environment. Wang Xiaoer instead used the ball for his own gain. When G.G. Bond is reincarnated and sees what Wang Xiaoer has done, he knows it is up to him to fix the problem, no matter what Wang Xiaoer tries to do to stop him.

Where it came from
GG Bond, known in China as Zhu Zhu Xia, debuted its first season, Magic Jurassic, in 2005. Produced by Guangdong Winsing Media, the series emerged during a period of rapid growth for the Chinese animation industry, aiming to provide a domestic alternative to imported children's programming. The show follows the adventures of a piglet endowed with superhuman abilities, blending humor with moral lessons designed to appeal to a younger demographic.
The character design, characterized by a playful and sturdy aesthetic, was crafted to establish a recognizable mascot for the brand. Season 1 established the foundational mythology of the series, drawing on prehistoric themes to create an engaging environment for its episodic structure. Upon its release, the series became a cornerstone for Winsing Media, eventually evolving into a long-running franchise that has maintained a consistent presence in Chinese children's television for nearly two decades.
