As we enter the 21st century, the relationship between sports and technology is getting closer and closer. Sports products are enhanced by technological advances. The designs of footballs and football shoes require detailed information and computer tests in order to produce products that will allow us to reach the full potential and beyond. If we were only reliant on human testing, the standards would definitely fluctuate greatly. Thus, Professor GGO was brought in as consultant in the research, and as a result GGO robotic footballers were created.

Where it came from
GGO Football, produced by the studio Puzzle Animation, emerged in the early 2010s as a hybrid sports-adventure series originating from China. The show was conceived during a period when the intersection of competitive sports, particularly football, and high-tech gadgetry was a popular thematic trope in children's television. Its central premise involves diminutive, robotic football players controlled by human coaches, reflecting the era's fascination with merging tactical gaming with traditional athletic competition.
The series design focuses on a roster of unique, anthropomorphic robot characters, each imbued with specific abilities and aesthetic quirks intended to appeal to a younger demographic. Created with a mixture of 3D animation and traditional storytelling elements, the series was designed to emphasize sportsmanship and strategic problem-solving. While it garnered a dedicated niche following within its target market, its reception remained primarily regional, serving as a testament to the period's broader trend of integrating technological fantasy with global sporting interests.
