Where it came from
Haru wa Kuru was produced by Horipro in 2012 as an original net animation designed to showcase the promotional reach of the agency's talent roster. Released during a period when Japanese talent agencies were increasingly experimenting with digital content to integrate their actors and musicians into the growing online anime landscape, the project served as a creative vehicle to bridge traditional talent management with emerging multimedia distribution platforms.
The animation focused on light, evocative storytelling intended to highlight the emotional range of its featured voice cast. By utilizing a minimalist ONA format, the studio sought to reach a direct audience without the traditional constraints of television broadcast cycles. While it functioned primarily as a strategic promotional tool, the piece was noted for its clean aesthetic and its direct connection to the specific cultural branding of the Horipro agency at the time.
