Juuku-Gatsu

Juuku-Gatsu, or 'Nineteen Months,' was released under the umbrella of KAMITSUBAKI RECORD, a Japanese creative label primarily focused on the intersection of virtual artistry, electronic music, and digital illustration. This project emerged from the label's commitment to cultivating a unique aesthetic identity that blurs the lines between traditional J-pop production and experimental virtual idol culture, often featuring contributions from a stable of closely associated composers and visual designers who curate a melancholic, high-fidelity atmosphere.

The conceptual foundation of the work leans heavily into the label's characteristic 'virtual' identity, utilizing atmospheric soundscapes and striking, stylized cover art to evoke a specific emotional resonance. While the specific personnel behind individual releases in this series can sometimes be collective, the design ethos reflects a deliberate push toward ethereal, high-concept visuals that define the KAMITSUBAKI aesthetic. It has been well-received by fans of the label's distinct fusion of dark, electronic, and vocal-focused music.
