Various monsters from the Ultra franchise visit the "Monster Bar" every evening to drink away their troubles, whether they have fought a good fight against the Ultra heroes that day or if they've been beaten black and blue. The monsters all gather to refresh themselves, to gather their energy, and to come up with more sinister plans for tomorrow. Baltan is the shop manager of the "Monster Bar," his assistants are Dada and Kanegon, and his part-time worker is Pigmon. The bar's regular customers include: Red King, Eleking, Gomora, Gudon, Zetton, King Joe, and Twin Tail.

Where it came from
Kaijuu Sakaba Kanpai! was produced by DLE in 2015 as a comedic spinoff series inspired by the real-life Kaiju Sakaba (Monster Bar) located in Kawasaki, Japan. The concept leans into the lore of the long-running Ultra series, focusing on the downtrodden lives of iconic kaiju who gather at a local tavern to commiserate over their frequent defeats at the hands of the Ultramen. By humanizing the series' antagonists, the show offers a lighthearted, slice-of-life perspective that stands in stark contrast to the dramatic battles of the original tokusatsu programs.
The animation style utilizes the signature Flash-based aesthetic synonymous with studio DLE, favoring expressive, puppet-like character movements to emphasize the situational comedy. The design prioritizes accessibility and humor, stripping away the gritty monster-movie aesthetic in favor of exaggerated, approachable archetypes that function effectively within a short-form, gag-based format. Upon its release, it was received as a niche but affectionate tribute that invited fans to view the franchise's classic antagonists with a sense of empathy and irony.
