Mei Chuxi De Yinyangshi Yijia 2

Mei Chuxi De Yinyangshi Yijia 2 is a short-form animated series produced by NetEase as a comedic spin-off within the expansive Onmyoji franchise. Released as an ONA (Original Net Animation) following the success of the first season, it aims to provide a lighter, slice-of-life perspective on the established characters from the Onmyoji mobile game, shifting the focus from the game's high-stakes supernatural drama to humorous, domestic interactions in the Heian-kyo period.

The series utilizes a distinct, simplified character design style known as 'chibi' or stylized caricature, which contrasts with the intricate, painterly aesthetic of the main game. Developed by the internal NetEase creative teams, the show was crafted to deepen fan engagement by showcasing the personalities of various shikigami in relatable, everyday scenarios. It has been received by the player base as a whimsical supplement to the core lore, functioning primarily as a platform for character-driven comedy.
