Where it came from
Motto! Majime ni Fumajime Kaiketsu Zorori 3rd Season was produced by Bandai Namco Pictures and released in 2022 as a continuation of the long-running franchise based on Yutaka Hara’s popular children's book series. The anime adapts the adventurous exploits of Zorori, a mischievous fox who aspires to be the king of pranks, while maintaining the lighthearted and humorous tone that has defined the property since its literary debut in the late 1980s.
The series design reflects the evolution of the franchise under the direction of Takahiro Tomioka, emphasizing vibrant animation and episodic storytelling tailored for a younger audience. Building upon decades of established character archetypes, the 2022 season was received as a faithful expansion of the source material, balancing the fox protagonist's classic schemes with the enduring themes of perseverance and friendship that have made the series a staple of Japanese children's television.
