Ichigo is a little girl who is distressed by the failing relationship between her mother and father (who is actually her step-father). After school one day she meets a driver of a magical bus and finds herself taking a ride in the bus. The bus transports her to the past to shortly after her mother and real father met. Perhaps she is meant to do something that will help her parents stay together and love one another further into the future.

Where it came from
Ontama! was produced by Encourage Films and released in 2009 as a series of short-form original net animations. The project emerged during a period of growth for the ONA format in Japan, where studios utilized the internet as a low-risk platform to experiment with niche, lighthearted, and character-driven storytelling that did not necessarily require the traditional broadcast structure of television series.
The series focuses on the anthropomorphized concepts of different egg preparations, reflecting a playful trend in Japanese media of assigning personality traits to inanimate objects or food items. Designed to be accessible and humorous, the show was received as a lighthearted diversion for fans of experimental short-form animation, though it remains a relatively obscure title within the broader landscape of Encourage Films' production history.
