Precure All Stars New Stage 3: Eien no Tomodachi

Precure All Stars New Stage 3: Eien no Tomodachi was released in 2014 as the final installment of the New Stage trilogy within the long-running Pretty Cure franchise. Produced by Toei Animation, the film serves as a grand crossover event intended to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the series. By gathering every Precure team from the original Futari wa Pretty Cure up to HappinessCharge Precure, the studio aimed to provide a definitive showcase of the franchise's expanding roster, focusing on themes of eternal friendship and the transition between different generations of heroines.

The production was directed by Koji Ogawa, who utilized the film as a narrative bridge to honor the legacy of the characters while introducing new audiences to the breadth of the series. The aesthetic design adheres to the established Precure visual style, characterized by intricate transformation sequences and dynamic combat, all while managing the logistical challenge of animating dozens of distinct character models simultaneously. Upon its theatrical release, the film was received as a nostalgic milestone for the fan base, effectively closing the New Stage era and solidifying the franchise's status as a staple of the mahou shoujo genre.
