Princess Holiday: Korogaru Ringo Tei Senya Ichiya

Princess Holiday: Korogaru Ringo Tei Senya Ichiya is an adult visual novel-inspired OVA released in 2004 by the studio Lemon Heart. It serves as a spin-off adaptation of the original 2002 adult PC game Princess Holiday, which was developed by the studio August. The adaptation emerged during a period in the early 2000s when successful eroge titles frequently received short-run animated adaptations to capitalize on the popularity of their character designs and established fanbases.

The animation focuses on the lighthearted and fantastical elements of the source material, maintaining the aesthetic style established by the game's original character designers, Bekkankō. The production was aimed strictly at the niche market of adult-oriented anime consumers who were already familiar with the game's narrative arcs. Like many independent OVA projects from smaller studios of that era, it was received primarily as a collector's curiosity for fans of the franchise rather than a mainstream industry staple.
