Qin Shi Mingyue Special: Dizi Jiang Xi

Dizi Jiang Xi, released as a special episode within the Qin Shi Mingyue franchise, was produced by Sparkly Key Animation to further explore the intricate wuxia world established by the studio. The series is based on the novel by Wen Shiren, which reimagines the history of the Qin Dynasty through a blend of historical fiction and traditional Chinese martial arts fantasy. This special was crafted to expand the narrative depth of the series, maintaining the high-fidelity 3D animation style that has become a hallmark of the studio's contribution to modern Chinese media.

The design and visual language of this project were led by the creative teams at Sparkly Key, who focused on integrating period-accurate architectural aesthetics with stylized, fluid combat choreography. The intent was to bridge the gap between historical gravity and the dynamic demands of a fantasy ONA. Upon its release, it was well-received by the established fan base for its commitment to character development and its refined technical presentation, solidifying its place as a notable expansion of the Qin Shi Mingyue universe.
