Sinbi Apateu 10-junyeon Geugjangpan: Han Beon Deo, Sohwan

Released in 2022 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Shinbi Apartment franchise, the film Han Beon Deo, Sohwan (Once Again, Summoning) serves as a special cinematic extension of the popular South Korean animated series. The franchise, which began as a television show centered on the adventures of Ha-ri and Doo-ri Koo alongside the goblin Shinbi, gained significant popularity for blending supernatural horror tropes with heartfelt narrative themes, capturing a vast audience of school-aged children and their families.

The film was produced by CJ ENM, the studio responsible for the long-running series, and maintains the established aesthetic established by earlier seasons. The design direction sought to elevate the television animation style for the big screen, focusing on expanded character development and high-stakes supernatural sequences. It was received as a milestone for the franchise, successfully transitioning its episodic format into a cohesive theatrical experience while staying true to the visual language of the original animation.
