Soukou Kijo Iris: Bonus Video

Soukou Kijo Iris: Bonus Video was released in 2010 as a promotional supplement by the studio Pixy. It emerged during a period where small-scale Japanese animation studios frequently bundled short, non-canonical vignettes or behind-the-scenes features with home media releases to incentivize physical sales in an increasingly digital landscape.

The creative direction for this supplemental material was handled by the internal production team at Pixy, who focused on expanding the visual lore of the Iris character designs. While the video was primarily intended for a niche audience of dedicated franchise enthusiasts, it serves as a representative example of the industry's mid-2000s strategy of maintaining engagement through supplementary fan-service content.
