Where it came from
The Share House's Secret Rule is an original net animation (ONA) produced by Suiseisha, a studio primarily known for its contributions to the long-running ComicFesta anime block. Released in 2025, the series fits within the studio's established strategy of adapting adult-oriented manga into short-form animated projects, focusing on interpersonal dynamics and intimate settings within a shared living environment.
The series design and narrative structure follow the house style of Suiseisha productions, prioritizing character-driven vignettes over expansive world-building. These projects are typically aimed at a niche demographic of manga enthusiasts, focusing on specific aesthetic tropes and thematic premises that translate efficiently into brief episodes. As with many of the studio's titles, the production emphasizes accessibility for streaming platforms, reflecting the contemporary trend of short-form digital consumption in the Japanese animation industry.
