The Vampire Dies in No Time Season 2

The Vampire Dies in No Time Season 2, produced by Studio MADHOUSE and released in 2023, serves as the direct continuation of the anime adaptation based on Itaru Bonnoki's manga. The series maintains the frantic, gag-heavy tone of the original work, following the unlikely partnership between the legendary vampire hunter Ronaldo and the extraordinarily fragile vampire Draluc. The production team aimed to amplify the series' signature fast-paced comedic rhythm while further exploring the chaotic dynamics of Shin-Yokohama's supernatural residents.

Transitioning into its second season, the series solidified its reputation for meta-humor and absurdist character interactions. Under the direction of Hiroshi Kojina and the creative stewardship of MADHOUSE, the animation style continued to prioritize expressive character designs and quick-cut visual gags that mimic the paneling of the source material. It was received as a faithful expansion of the franchise, praised by fans for its ability to balance slapstick elements with the deepening, albeit eccentric, bonds between the core cast.
