Arahama Yuu has 5 sex-friends. One day, his easygoing sex-life reaches a precipice. One of his partners, Shimizu Misako, who is also a co-worker at his company, had been sleeping with him on the understanding that they would marry. However, he only considered her a sex-friend, and even revealed the existence of the other 4. Incensed, she has him gather the other 4 together in his apartment.
Shimizu discovers that Arahama has surrounded himself in the company of many beauties of differing personalities. Besides herself, the others are: Yanagi Ryouko who runs a cafe near Arahama's apartment; Hoshino Kotori, a schoolgirl of his acquaintance; Endou Makiko, who manages a large company; and Kamishima Aina whom he met on an on-line dating site.
Shimizu demands that Arahama ceases having casual relations and marries someone. However, the situation get heated and confusing until Arahama somehow ends up proposing to all of them.
In the days that follow, Arahama visits each of them individually in an effort to withdraw his marriage proposal.

Where it came from
Tsugou no Yoi Sexfriend? is an adult-oriented original video animation released in 2012 by the studio Collaboration Works. It belongs to a wave of single-episode OVA productions that emerged during the early 2010s, a period when independent studios frequently adapted short-form erotic manga into niche animated features to cater to domestic otaku markets. The project was conceived as a straightforward adaptation designed to capitalize on the rising popularity of the source material within the adult manga subculture, focusing on character-driven narratives typical of the genre at the time.
The production utilized a minimalist aesthetic common to Collaboration Works' catalog, prioritizing character designs that remained faithful to the original manga's artistic style. While the work did not receive widespread critical acclaim outside of its dedicated target demographic, it served as a representative example of how smaller studios managed to maintain steady output during this era of digital distribution and boutique physical media releases. It remains a documented piece of industry history that reflects the aesthetic and thematic trends prevalent in the 2012 independent animation landscape.
