W: Wish Omake

The Wish Omake was released in 2005 by the animation studio Picture Magic as a supplemental special. It serves as a creative expansion of the source material's universe, providing fans with a brief, lighthearted extension that departs from the primary narrative. Omake segments in Japanese animation are traditionally crafted as bonus content to provide character development or comic relief, and this release functions as a stylized coda to the studio's broader production work.

The production aesthetic reflects the mid-2000s transition toward refined digital animation techniques within smaller independent studios. The design team aimed for a whimsical and accessible visual language, intentionally softening the character models to distinguish the piece from the more serious tone of the original series. Upon its release, it was received primarily as a collector's curiosity for dedicated followers of the studio, valued for its commitment to the established visual identity while experimenting with a more relaxed directorial approach.
