Where it came from
Yuru Camp△ SEASON 2 OVA, officially titled 'Stay Home', was released in 2021 by Studio C-Station. Created as a direct tie-in to the second season of the beloved anime adaptation of Afro's manga series, the production emerged during a period of global social distancing. The content serves as a lighthearted continuation of the characters' outdoor adventures, maintaining the franchise's established aesthetic of tranquil, slice-of-life storytelling centered on camping and companionship.
The animation style mirrors the character designs developed by Mutsumi Sasaki, who translated Afro's source material into the distinctive, cozy visual language that defines the series. The OVA was received as a gentle, restorative addition to the franchise, intentionally designed to evoke the same sense of serenity and appreciation for nature that made the primary television seasons a critical success within the iyashikei genre.
