Semicollared Flycatcher

The Semicollared Flycatcher, Ficedula semitorquata, is a migratory passerine bird that breeds in the southeastern parts of Europe and the Near East before wintering in sub-Saharan Africa. Taxonomically, it was historically confused with its close relatives, the Collared Flycatcher and the Pied Flycatcher, due to their overlapping physical traits.
