Sunda Brush Cuckoo

The Sunda Brush Cuckoo, Cacomantis sepulcralis, is a species of cuckoo native to the forests and scrublands of the Sundaic region, including the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Borneo, and Java. Historically categorized as a subspecies of the plaintive cuckoo, it was elevated to full species status based on distinct vocalizations and morphological differences.
