Gigantosaurus

Gigantosaurus, published by Templar Publishing in 2019, originated from the popular animated television series developed by Cyber Group Studios. The book serves as a literary companion to the show, which is based on the original picture book by Jonny Duddle. It was designed to capture the vibrant, prehistoric world of the series, focusing on the adventures of four young dinosaurs—Rocky, Bill, Tiny, and Mazu—as they navigate their environment and learn about the mysterious, towering Gigantosaurus.

The illustrative style of the book draws directly from the 3D computer-animated aesthetic of the television production, favoring bright colors and expressive character designs that appeal to early readers. By translating the dynamic movement of the screen-based characters into static printed narratives, the publisher aimed to provide a tactile extension of the show's core themes of curiosity, friendship, and bravery. The title has since become a standard entry in tie-in merchandising for the franchise, widely distributed in libraries and retail markets for its target demographic.
