Where it came from
Released in 2015 by the independent label Badeggbox, Giga Best serves as a career-spanning compilation for the artist Gigamous. This collection was curated to distill the project's output during a formative period in the underground electronic and experimental scene, offering both longtime listeners and newcomers a definitive overview of the artist's evolving soundscape and production techniques.
The limited edition packaging reflects the label’s commitment to a distinctive, tactile aesthetic, moving away from conventional jewel cases toward more bespoke materials. The design choices were intended to mirror the eccentric, high-energy sonic identity of Gigamous, prioritizing a cohesive visual experience that complements the intensity of the included tracks. Upon release, the set was noted by niche music critics for its curation, serving as a functional cornerstone for collectors interested in the Badeggbox discography.
