Provenance

Where it came from

Released in 2024 via the band's own imprint, Skull & Palms Recordings, Jolly Good Fellas serves as a career-spanning retrospective for the German punk rock band Broilers. Created to celebrate three decades of music, the compilation reflects the group's transition from their mid-nineties underground ska-punk origins to their status as one of Germany's most prominent rock acts, capturing a journey that bridged independent roots with mainstream chart success.

The collection features a carefully curated selection of tracks spanning from 1994 to 2024, highlighting the evolution of Sammy Amara’s songwriting and the band's signature blend of punk, rock, and soul influences. Designed to act as an archival touchstone for both long-term fans and new listeners, the release emphasizes the band's consistency in production and their enduring focus on themes of social cohesion, personal struggle, and camaraderie, which have remained central to their identity throughout their thirty-year tenure.
