Весёлые Скины = Jolly Skins

Весёлые Скины (Jolly Skins) was released in 2005 by the experimental project Tsyrulnia under the independent label Masks Off Records. Emerging from the mid-2000s Russian underground electronic and industrial scene, the album serves as a period artifact of the era's fascination with provocative thematic samples and lo-fi aesthetic experimentation. It reflects a niche movement that combined abrasive sound design with dark, satirical commentary on subcultural motifs.

The album's visual and sonic identity was crafted to challenge listeners through a juxtaposition of playful, folk-inspired elements and harsh noise textures. By subverting traditional song structures, Tsyrulnia sought to create an immersive experience that mirrored the chaotic social atmosphere of the time. Upon its limited release, the record gained a dedicated following among enthusiasts of experimental Russian music, where it remains a point of interest for its stylistic divergence from mainstream electronic releases of that year.
