Lami Jean

Lami Jean is a self-titled independent project released without the backing of a traditional record label. This CD emerged from a niche corner of the independent music scene, serving as a platform for the artist to showcase a deeply personal soundscape. By bypassing formal distribution networks, the release reflects a raw, unfiltered approach to songwriting and production that prioritizes creative autonomy over industry standards.

The design of the physical CD packaging leans into a minimalist aesthetic, often mirroring the lo-fi production qualities found within the music itself. Created during an era when independent artists began leveraging home recording technology to reach listeners directly, the album was received as an intimate, boutique effort. It exists primarily as a document of the artist's specific stylistic evolution, intended for a small but dedicated audience of collectors who value independent, non-commercialized studio work.
