Levenslessen (Van Alain En Ook Alain)

Levenslessen is a self-released CD by the Belgian comedy duo Preuteleute, consisting of Alain Van Zeveren and Alain De Meyer. Released in 2007, the album embodies the irreverent and satirical spirit of the group, which emerged from the West-Flemish entertainment scene. The project serves as a compilation of their musical sketches and comedy routines, characterized by a distinct local dialect and a penchant for provocative, tongue-in-cheek lyrical content that pokes fun at everyday life and social norms in the Flanders region.

The design and production of the disc reflect the group's independent approach to their craft, functioning as a tangible souvenir for fans of their live performances. By bypassing major record labels, the duo maintained complete creative control over the audio material and the visual presentation of the album. The release was received as a quintessential piece of regional Flemish comedy, solidifying their status as cult figures in the local humor circuit while demonstrating the growing trend of self-distributed niche media within the digital age.
