Where it came from
Radio Dog was released in 2010 on the Signature label, an imprint of Radio France's Groupe de Recherches Musicales that focuses on contemporary experimental and electroacoustic music. The project is a collaboration between the musician Régis Boulard and the artist Chien Vert, emerging from a period of cross-disciplinary exploration where sound design and sonic landscape composition were increasingly integrated with modern multimedia art.
The album reflects the label's dedication to abstract, texture-heavy soundscapes, utilizing a blend of organic recording techniques and digital manipulation. While not a commercial mainstream release, it was well-received within niche circles of avant-garde and experimental music listeners for its disciplined approach to sound architecture and its ability to construct evocative, non-linear narratives through audio alone.
