The Parker Brothers

The Parker Brothers self-titled album, released in 2011 on the Creole Stream Music label, emerged from the underground independent music scene during a period when physical CD releases were becoming increasingly niche. As a collaborative project, the album served as a platform for the ensemble to showcase their blend of contemporary soundscapes, reflecting the broader DIY ethos that defined much of the independent music production landscape at the turn of the decade.

The design of the packaging focuses on a minimalist aesthetic, favoring clarity and straightforward identification to mirror the group's direct approach to their songwriting. By utilizing the independent distribution channels provided by Creole Stream Music, the artists maintained creative control over the visual presentation, aiming to resonate with listeners who prioritized grassroots artistry over the more commercialized production standards prevalent in the mainstream industry at the time.
