2000 AD #2498

2000 AD #2498, released in July 2024, continues the long-standing tradition of the British science fiction anthology comic that first appeared in 1977. This issue serves as a contemporary entry in a series known for its satirical edge, dystopian outlook, and high-octane action sequences, maintaining the publication's identity as a platform for both established industry veterans and emerging creators in the medium.

The visual design and editorial direction of this period reflect the ongoing evolution of the flagship Judge Dredd strips alongside various supporting features. Under the guidance of current editorial staff, the issue upholds the classic format that combines sharp social commentary with bold, kinetic illustration styles, ensuring that the legacy of the weekly prog—a term fondly used by its dedicated readership—remains grounded in its original spirit of innovative British comics production.
