All-New Spider-Gwen: The Ghost-Spider #6

All-New Spider-Gwen: The Ghost-Spider #6, published in 2019, arrived during a period of transition for Marvel's Gwen Stacy character. Following the conclusion of the initial Spider-Gwen run, this series integrated the character more deeply into the main Marvel multiverse, rebranding her under the moniker Ghost-Spider. The narrative context focuses on Gwen navigating life as a superhero while dealing with the repercussions of her interdimensional travels and the loss of her powers, attempting to balance her music career with her dual identity.

The issue features contributions from writer Seanan McGuire and artist Takeshi Miyazawa. The design and visual storytelling aim to capture the character's signature aesthetic—a blend of punk-rock sensibilities and classic superhero dynamism. As part of an ongoing narrative arc, the issue was received as a continuation of the character's search for identity in a crowded field of Spider-verse iterations, maintaining the series' commitment to exploring Gwen’s personal stakes rather than solely focusing on grand-scale heroics.
