Boule et Bill #28

Boule et Bill, created by the Belgian cartoonist Jean Roba in 1959, is one of the most enduring comic series in the Franco-Belgian tradition. The series centers on the domestic adventures of a young boy, Boule, and his irrepressible Cocker Spaniel, Bill. By the time the twenty-eighth volume was released, the series had firmly established its lighthearted, observational style, which focuses on the affectionate and often humorous bond between a pet and its owners in a suburban setting.

The twenty-eighth volume continues the legacy of Roba's meticulous and expressive drawing style, characterized by fluid lines and emotive character design. As the series progressed through the late 1990s and early 2000s, it maintained its commitment to gentle, family-oriented humor that resonated with generations of readers. This installment is celebrated for its ability to capture small, relatable moments of daily life, keeping the spirit of the original strip alive while reflecting the creative consistency that made the franchise a staple of European comics.
