Boule et Bill - La collection Roba #21

Boule et Bill, created by Jean Roba in 1959 for the Franco-Belgian comics magazine Spirou, follows the humorous adventures of a young boy and his cocker spaniel. The series is celebrated for its gentle, observational humor and the expressive, rounded art style that became Roba's signature. Over decades, the characters evolved into cultural icons, capturing the essence of childhood and family life through short, gag-driven comic strips.

The Roba Collection, including issue number 21, serves as a curated retrospective or reprint series designed to preserve Roba's vast body of work for new generations. The design focuses on high-quality reproduction of the original ink-and-watercolor aesthetic, ensuring that the warmth of the character interactions remains intact. These collections are widely regarded by enthusiasts as essential archival editions that honor Roba's contributions to the Ligne Claire and wider Franco-Belgian traditions.
