Colección Genios del Humor #6

Colección Genios del Humor was an influential comic book series published by Editorial Bruguera in Spain during the late 1970s and early 1980s. This series aimed to collect the most iconic works of the Bruguera school, serving as a prestige format for humorists who had previously been relegated to smaller magazine or serial formats. It provided readers with a more durable, anthology-style hardcover experience, showcasing the vibrant and often irreverent storytelling that defined Spanish popular culture of the era.

Issue number 6 of this collection focuses on the work of Francisco Ibáñez, the legendary creator of Mortadelo and Filemón. The volume was designed to offer a thematic retrospective of his humor, capturing his kinetic, slapstick visual style and complex, character-driven narratives. At the time of its release, the volume was well-received by fans of the genre, cementing Ibáñez's status as a central figure in European comics and helping to preserve his prolific output for future generations.
