Colección Miguelanxo Prado #10

The Colección Miguelanxo Prado series was published by Norma Editorial in Spain to showcase the expansive career of the celebrated Galician comic artist and illustrator. This particular volume, issue number 10, serves as a curated retrospective designed to highlight Prado's distinctively lyrical and melancholic approach to storytelling, which often blends magical realism with sharp social observation. The series was released during a period when European comics, particularly those from the Spanish market, were gaining international recognition for their sophisticated narrative maturity and artistic technicality.

The editorial design of the collection focused on a minimalist presentation to allow Prado’s detailed brushwork and atmospheric color palettes to remain the primary focus. Miguelanxo Prado, known for his work on projects like 'Ardalén' and 'Trazo de tiza', took an active role in the selection of the works included, aiming to provide readers with a comprehensive view of his stylistic evolution. Upon release, the collection was well received by critics and long-time followers, who praised the high-quality printing and the thoughtful curation that successfully bridged the gap between commercial comic production and fine art portfolio curation.
