Colección Miguelanxo Prado #5

The Colección Miguelanxo Prado series was published by Norma Editorial in the early 2000s, serving as a comprehensive retrospective of the celebrated Spanish cartoonist and illustrator’s career. Issue number 5 focuses on 'Trazo de tiza' (Chalk Lines), a pivotal graphic novel that originally serialized in the magazine Cimoc in the early 1990s. The series was designed to collect his diverse works into a uniform, high-quality format that highlighted the evolution of his visual storytelling, which often blends magical realism with meticulous architectural observation.

Miguelanxo Prado himself oversaw the compilation of these volumes, ensuring that the presentation honored his reputation for intricate line work and sophisticated color palettes. As one of Europe's most respected comic artists, Prado aimed with this collection to offer readers a cohesive look at his thematic explorations of memory and solitude. The series was well-received by the international comics community, cementing its place in the canon of graphic literature and serving as a definitive reference for scholars and fans of the medium.
