Colección Miguelanxo Prado #6

The Colección Miguelanxo Prado, published in Spain by Norma Editorial during the 1990s, was designed as a prestige retrospective series aimed at showcasing the diverse artistic range of Miguelanxo Prado, one of the most influential figures in contemporary European graphic novels. Issue number six specifically features the atmospheric and often melancholic narratives that defined Prado's mid-career output, serving as both an anthology for established fans and an entry point for those drawn to his distinctively painterly aesthetic.

Prado himself oversaw the selection and presentation of his work for this collection, ensuring the layout honored his meticulous use of light and color. The design aesthetic emphasizes the fluidity of his linework, moving away from traditional comic book rigidity toward a more cinematic, illustrative style. Upon release, the series was well-received by European critics for elevating the format of comic collections into archival-quality editions, cementing Prado's reputation as a master of mood and visual storytelling.
