Comic X-Eros #112

Comic X-Eros was a long-running anthology series published by Eros Comix, an imprint of Fantagraphics Books established in the early 1990s. The series was designed to feature the work of various independent cartoonists and illustrators, focusing on adult-oriented storytelling and erotic art. Issue #112 emerged as part of the label's sustained effort to provide a platform for artists to explore mature themes outside the constraints of traditional mainstream comic publishers.

The editorial direction of the X-Eros line typically prioritized a diverse range of artistic styles, reflecting the sensibilities of underground comix creators. Contributors were often given significant creative freedom, which meant that the aesthetic of each issue varied widely depending on the featured artist. While the series was often controversial due to its explicit nature, it holds a specific place in the history of independent publishing for its role in maintaining a dedicated venue for adult comics during a period when such material faced intense legal and social scrutiny.
