Comic X-Eros #121

Comic X-Eros was an adult-oriented anthology series published by Eros Comix, an imprint of Fantagraphics Books established in the early 1990s. The series was created to provide a platform for erotic comics and graphic novels, often featuring a diverse array of underground artists and cartoonists who explored adult themes with a focus on artistic expression and character-driven storytelling.

Issue 121 serves as a typical example of the series' editorial direction during its long-running tenure. Like many issues in the run, it features contributions from various illustrators tasked with subverting genre tropes while maintaining the distinct, non-mainstream aesthetic that defined the Eros Comix brand. It was received primarily by a niche audience of underground comic enthusiasts, serving as a staple for collectors interested in the evolution of adult comic art in the late 20th century.
