Comic X-Eros #135

Comic X-Eros, an anthology series published by Eros Comix throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, served as a notable outlet for adult-oriented sequential art. Issue 135 emerged during a period when the imprint was actively bridging the gap between underground comix and more stylized erotic illustration, providing a platform for artists to explore mature themes with varying degrees of narrative complexity.

The design and content of these issues typically centered on the contributions of artists associated with the adult comics scene, focusing on distinct aesthetic sensibilities that leaned into provocative, fantasy-driven visuals. While often regarded as a niche publication, the series remains a representative artifact of the erotic subgenre of the era, reflecting the distinct editorial direction of the Eros imprint under the Fantagraphics umbrella.
