Comic X-Eros #136

Comic X-Eros, an anthology series primarily focused on erotic adult themes, emerged during the late twentieth century as part of a niche underground comics scene. These publications typically relied on a rotating roster of independent illustrators and writers, often prioritizing stylistic experimentation and thematic provocation over mainstream narrative continuity. Issue 136 arrived as part of a long-running series that sought to blend traditional comic book aesthetics with the explicit motifs characteristic of the adult-oriented market at the time.

The design and illustrative approach of these issues were defined by the creative sensibilities of independent artists who frequently worked under pseudonyms to preserve their anonymity. The visual language was characterized by bold, sometimes stark, ink work aimed at a specialized readership. While the series maintained a dedicated following among collectors of underground erotica, it remained largely sequestered from the mainstream critical landscape, serving as a reflection of the subcultural publishing trends that thrived before the widespread digitalization of such content.
