DC Comics Presents #90

DC Comics Presents #90 was published in February 1986 as part of a long-running series that paired Superman with various characters from the DC Universe. This specific issue features a team-up between Superman and the Elongated Man, written by Paul Kupperberg with art by Eduardo Barreto. The story arrives during a transitional era for DC Comics, following the conclusion of the Crisis on Infinite Earths, which sought to streamline the publisher's expansive continuity.

The cover art, illustrated by Ed Hannigan and Klaus Janson, reflects the established house style of the mid-1980s, emphasizing dynamic action and clear character archetypes. Eduardo Barreto’s interior work was well-regarded for its clean, expressive linework, which helped ground the supernatural elements of the mystery-themed plot. At the time of its release, the series served as a reliable platform for exploring secondary characters within the DC stable, allowing for lighter, stand-alone adventures compared to the increasingly complex narratives found in the main line titles.
