FemForce #100

FemForce number 100 was published by AC Comics in the early 1990s as a milestone issue for the long-running independent comic book series. The title centers on a team of super-powered women operating in a world inspired by the Golden Age of comics, deliberately evoking the aesthetic and tropes of 1940s and 1950s adventure fiction. This specific issue served as a celebratory landmark for the franchise, which has maintained a dedicated following since its debut in the mid-1980s.

The series was created by Bill Black, who utilized the platform to pay homage to the historical comic book styles he admired. For this anniversary edition, the design leaned into the established team dynamic that defined the series, featuring character-focused narratives and vibrant, retro-inspired illustrations. While the series has often been noted for its niche appeal and commitment to a specific stylistic era, the 100th issue provided a reflective look back at the characters and themes that sustained the title for over a decade of independent publication.
