FX Senshi Kurumi-chan #4

FX Senshi Kurumi-chan began as an unconventional financial education manga serialized in the Japanese web magazine Ganma! starting in 2017. Created by the artist Hiroshi Matsuyama, the series utilizes the high-stakes, aggressive aesthetic of the magical girl genre to explain the volatile mechanics of foreign exchange trading. By personifying currency pairs and market trends as combatants, the narrative aims to demystify complex financial instruments for a younger demographic, blending satirical commentary on fiscal responsibility with standard shōnen-style action tropes.

The fourth issue continues the series' signature approach of pairing intense, stylized battles with genuine technical analysis of market leverage and risk management. Designed to serve as both entertainment and an accessible primer, the artwork employs sharp character designs and dynamic layouts to maintain reader interest despite the dense pedagogical content. Upon its release, the series garnered attention for its jarring but effective juxtaposition of cute character archetypes and the cold, often unforgiving realities of currency speculation, securing a niche but dedicated following among finance enthusiasts and manga readers alike.
