Il Giornalino #v. 87 no. 21

Il Giornalino is a long-standing Italian weekly magazine founded in 1924 by the Society of Saint Paul, designed to provide wholesome, educational, and entertaining content for youth. Over its decades of publication, the magazine served as a cornerstone of Italian children's literature, often featuring serialized comics, articles on science and history, and contributions from prominent Italian illustrators who balanced artistic quality with the moral themes favored by its religious publishers.

The 87th volume of the publication reflects a period in the magazine's late history, continuing its tradition of serialized storytelling and pedagogical content. During this era, the editorial direction remained focused on maintaining the legacy of the historic weekly by blending contemporary graphic styles with the classic, character-driven narratives that had defined the brand for generations, though it operated in an increasingly competitive media market that eventually led to the magazine's transition toward digital distribution.
